Everyone would be excited to see the joy on their college or neighbour's face gathered around the bonfire. Some even don’t prefer indulging themselves in such an environment and instead seek to stay at home.

You can’t teach someone not to throw fireworks during a festive. It is vital and duty to keep them away, here are some tips for doing so.


Seek the sales of the firework:

The sale date would be mostly between 15 Oct and 15 Nov, 26 Dec – 31 Dec. Then before the festivals like Diwali and Chinese New Year.


When coming to the bursting part, you can’t crack them between 11 pm-07 am, except the festivals like Diwali, Chinese New Year and bonfire night as their restriction time varies.


You may now have a question in your mind why look at the sales of fireworks? At such times you can take some necessary precautions to keep your pets away from the noise and the flash the firework creates.


Why pets get frightened?


More noise can disturb the routine nurturing nature of pets and can impact stress and pain. Fireworks will create huge noise that disrupts them from the typical environment.


Likewise, therapy dogs and normal pets are not discerned the colourful impression before so, anything that is away from their regular routine will get disturbed and stressed.


How to take necessary precautions:


Pets like dogs and cats need more attention as the chance to run away is high. Therefore take your dog for walking on the day, as there is no mean to take them at night. For cats, ensure that you have closed all the doors and windows shut, including the cats locking flaps.


Foremost don’t take your pet to the firework display area, and don’t leave them all alone in the house as they can mess your whole home due to the stress. Don’t ever tie your pet in the garden area or inside the car. Take them inside the house.

Play a music system or put the TV on to distract the enormous sound and make blackout blinds block the sounds and block light. Using blankets and boxes, try to make a den where the pets can hide. After all, you have to stay relaxed and calm. If you get tensed or frightened, then your pets, too, will do the same.
